Four (4) credit hours for each day of the CME cum workshop and the Congress would be awarded by the Punjab Medical Council.

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

The Department of Pediatrics, Advanced Pediatrics Centre, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh would be hosting the 'Asia Pacific Society for Immunodeficiencies (APSID) School Cum Workshop on Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases' on 6th.& 7th.February, 2020, and 'Third Scientific APSID Congress on Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases' on 8th.& 9th.February, 2020.


Delegates would include residents, research fellows, consultants, and practising clinicians who have a special interest in primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs). The faculty includes some of the most distinguished names in the field of Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases from across the globe.


The programme includes didactic lectures and panel discussions on various PIDs, infections and vaccination in PIDs, use of immunomodulators, intravenous immunoglobulins, and monoclonal antibodies (biologicals and biosimilars), the utility of flow cytometry and genetic tests in PIDs, and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in PIDs.
